Heart of the Valley Yoga Begin
Two practitioners balance in standing bow pose before the copper tree-of-life mural in the practice room. Two women on the studio bench, laughing together in the window light. A silver-haired practitioner in a deep standing forward fold.

Rooted in the heart
of the valley.

One heated room. One honest practice.
Twenty-two years of showing up, together.

The Room

Designed for the comfort
of our community.

The tree of life grounds our practice room. Showers, cubbies, a bench in the sun by the front door. Every detail of our studio was built to hold the people who walk in, and to let everything else go quiet.

The empty practice room — warm walls, mirrors, and two large copper tree-of-life murals painted in circles.

The Practice

Ninety minutes.
A room heated to body temperature.
Everything else falls away.

The “26 & 2” has been the foundation of our teaching since we first opened our doors in 2002. It is a full-body series designed for beginners, yet hard-working enough to challenge the most experienced practitioner.

It builds strength, flexibility, and balance in the body. And it trains the quieter powers of the mind: patience, concentration, willpower, determination.

The People

Community, friendship, and laughter
are part of every class.

Our teachers train with an eye for precise alignment. Safety first, compassion always. Students of every age, level, and ability practice side by side: new members next to people who have been here since the beginning.

“We welcome new members as well as those who have been here since our inception.”
